National Motivation Training is a carefully curated program aimed at equipping the Youth Ambassadors of the project in Romania with the essential skills and knowledge required to become effective changemakers within their local communities. This training, which took place online from February to March 2023, encompassed a comprehensive range of subjects, each designed to empower and inspire participants to make a positive impact on their communities and foster a sense of European citizenship.
The subjects covered during this transformative training journey included:
1. 🤝 Wider Civic Participation and Fostering a Sense of European Citizenship:
- Participants explored the concept of active citizenship and learned how to engage with their local communities to promote a sense of belonging to a broader European identity.
2. 🤝 Building Skills for Forging Solidarity and Inclusiveness:
- The training delved into the crucial skills required to build bridges of inclusiveness and solidarity within diverse community settings, fostering a culture of unity and cooperation.
3. 🗣️ Personal, Civic, and Social Competences for Active European Citizenship:
- Youth Ambassadors honed their personal, civic, and social competences, enabling them to play an active role in European citizenship and community development.
4. 👑 Leadership: How to Form a Project Idea:
- The training equipped participants with leadership skills and provided guidance on the conception and development of impactful projects, helping them turn ideas into reality.
5. 💰 Financial & Monitoring:
- Understanding the financial aspects of community projects, including budgeting and monitoring, was a pivotal part of the training to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives.
6. 🇪🇺 EU & National Funding Opportunities:
- Participants were introduced to a wealth of EU and national funding opportunities, enabling them to secure resources for their projects and initiatives.
7. 📋 Project Briefs:
- In the final phase of the training, participants mastered the art of crafting concise and compelling project briefs. This skill is crucial for effectively communicating project objectives and expected outcomes to stakeholders and potential partners.
This training program was conducted online with a duration of 12 hours, recognizing the importance of accessibility and inclusivity, and was co-financed by the European Union, emphasizing the shared commitment to building a brighter future for communities within the European framework.
